A nexus is a stone structure crafted in the shape of an archway, and
adorned with runes that possess magical properties. It allows
lightning‑fast travel to near and faraway lands across the realm. It's
unclear how a nexus works, but scrolls scribed by the House of Lucius
scholars outline their experiments with the structure. Great emphasis is
placed on the importance of each material requirement oddly being in the
amount of a prime number. The scholars even tried to produce one with fewer
and greater materials, though the experiment did not end favorably. One
brave scholar stepped through the nexus and was never seen again, while
another stepped through and arrived on the other side as a pile of limbs.
Nexuses can be crafted and bolted to player homes. To add a new destination
to your nexus, use the command 'nexus add <area name>', and 'nexus enter
<area name>' to travel to that location. The command 'nexus list' will list
all areas a particular nexus can lead to.
The cost to add a new destination to a nexus is 500,000 gold, 250
questpoints, and 10 mudpies. By removing a nexus point, you'll receive half
the cost back.
